We have two options for scanning services if you have slides that you want to have scanned using the same hardware and systems that are being used to scan the slides you see on this site:
Presently we have the capability to scan 35mm slides or smaller and produce a roughly 20 mega-pixel image from that. This should exceed the resolution of just about any slide out there so little, if any, information that is contained on the slide should be lost. In most cases the end result will look better than if you were to project the slide yourself because we can also correct color shifts caused both by lighting as well as age as well as lighting to some extent.
In either case we will provide the JPEG images like to see on the site, but in a far higher resolution as well as the mount images. In addition we'll provide the RAW files that contain the full image data that we were able to get off of the slides.
The end results will be provided either online or on a USB drive depending on whatever works best for the situation and size of the job. If you need something specific, we can work something out for sure.
